Besides being busy with Christmas parties, shopping, and being with my family it's also busy with recitals, weddings, and orchestra concerts. But I love it.
My students participated with a few recitals this month. At BYU we held a recital for all the harpists and their families. Everyone played so well, it makes me so proud. They also had an ensemble concert the next night and played amazing there too. For my private students we held a recital at a retirement home in Orem. What a treat it was for the residents of the home. They were so happy to have us play and what a great audience they were.
I am so proud of all my students. Everyone worked so hard to prepare and it was wonderful to hear them all perform.

- I am a harpist and have been for as long as I can remember. I first saw a harp when I was 6 years old and it’s been my passion ever since. Fortunately, I have great parents who allowed me to pursue my dreams and I have had amazing experiences because of that. I studied Harp Performance at the University of Arizona where I played with a touring harp ensemble. I traveled to China, South Korea, Spain, Mexico, and throughout the US. I was also privileged to help produce and record two CDs. I recently completed my Masters degree at the University of Utah and have been teaching harp to non-majors at BYU for the past 5 years. I also teach privately in Salt Lake and Provo.
